The Home Builders Foundation is committed to helping people with physical disabilities and financial need in the metro Denver area by making quality home modifications so they can live independently in their homes. The work is performed by a community of caring building professionals, suppliers and volunteers.
- The Foundation’s volunteers build ramps, install lifts, widen doorways, remodel bathrooms and kitchens, and other custom accessibility solutions to help people remain in their own homes with dignity and independence.
- In 2009, for every $1 raised, the Foundation provided $5 in value to the people it served since most of the construction materials and labor for each project was donated. Lasts year, the HBF completed 18 projects with an estimated retail value of $252,000.
- In the last four years, the Foundation completed nearly 150 projects and helped hundreds of individuals and families with disabilities and financial need through the caring and professional work of thousands of HBF volunteers.
- You can help the Foundation continue its mission by donating dollars or your time. You can also serve as a Project Leader, a Project Sponsor, or you can sponsor an HBF event such as the annual Grapes & Galleries fund raiser, the ongoing “Ramp This House” campaign, the Annual Luncheon, or the Annual Golf Tournament.
